This ain't the half of it.

I can't, but I am and I'm also gonna quit my job and start my own business. I have a safe job I don't even want. Its a pretty stupid thing to do but it'll at least save one life* which I think is worth it.

*either mine, my boss or some random stranger when I finally flip my lid.

Are you sure you want a gaming laptop? You're paying a hefty premium for what is essentially just a desktop that's easier to relocate from one building to another, if you do that a lot then it may be worth it but splitting the money between a desktop and a laptop will give you both a faster gaming machine and a mobile machine that you won't mind carrying about.

If you do want a gaming machine then you could look at Rock, Novatech, PCSpecialist and Dell. Gateway these days only sell in the UK through Tesco so they may not be selling a high-end gaming laptop here.

Thought about if I did want a desktop and a portable instead. I decided I do want a desk top replacement. The premium I'll pay will solve a few issues and annoyances in my life where I want to game in several different rooms and sometimes different places. The difference in having to use the car or being able to use my bike is huge.

I thought Rock went into administration? I like Dell but they do seemed to of made a mess of their top end laptops.
