Other is stuff that doesn't fall into the other categories - so could be all sorts of stuff. In this case I'd try using Grand Perspective - http://grandperspectiv.sourceforge.net - this scans your hard drive and gives a great usable image to help you track down what takes up space.

Also I like to use Onyx to help clear caches and tidy everything up - http://www.titanium.free.fr/onyx.html

i ran the scan shows lots of files on apple.bird/session

Can I delete these?

Thanks ... deleted all the files .. apparently icloud logs for watsapp.

Just freed up 300gb. All looking good now. T
