Im not sure but I do know that we have used More Than for years now and they have always been great. I always use Quidco and when they send out auto renewal, I call them to decline, then sign up again via Quidco, nice bonus each year and great cover for a very good price. Im very happy with them x
No insurance company will mess you about unless you aren't honest with them.

Saying that though try and look for the best cover with the best underwriter and the best price. You will only know how good they are when you make a claim. We've been with m+s for years and they have one of the best covers possible.
Try John Lewis, underwritten by Axa now. Good cover and very competitive quote.
Sadly you never know how good they are until you need to claim . Go on comparison sites get the cheapest and ensure everything is covered . They all have to work by the rules .
I have to disagree with More Than being acceptable. Terrible trouble with them for car insurance. Price quoted and accepted was not the price that came through on the documents and charged. Had to cancel and that was a real pain took just over a month of messing around. And it was a call centre in India. I personally vowed NEVER to use them again. Sorry.

The unfortunate thing about home insurance is that people only ever leave a review if something goes wrong.

Having sold home Insurance and Wife deals with complaints for a nationally recognised company people are too quick to look at price as the be all and end all.

Check out defaqto ratings and check your cover carefully.
Axa phhh took them 9 months to pay out when my parents retaining wall for their house collapsed.
Iv took out policy with tesco home insurance. Thanks for the comments
