Does anyone know of any decent app on the App Store (that doesn't cost much if necessary) that will be able to record all calls outgoing and incoming without much hassle?

If that isn't possible, is there something on an Android device that is capable of this? And again, if so, what app?

Don't have a android phone so any recommendation for this sort of things would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

On android I've used ACR (all call recorder) free version worked quite well to begin with, then became a bit unreliable so I tried a few others before settling for Realtime call recorder (free version) which has been 100% reliable so far.

Can't comment on iOS apps, but there must be lots.

Thanks, will put that to some consideration.

I do have a spare iPhone 4 in the house. Wanting to get another SIM card for work only instead of using personal phone for everything so before I go an buy a cheap android phone would like to know if anyone has got an experience with a decent iOS app I won't have to spend as much money.

I've had a few but they require you to call or receive a call, place on speaker and then open up the app and start recording

I use auto call recorder on Android. Brilliant app.

Thing to remember is you should really tell people they are being recorded. However, if it's a company that has a message telling you that they record calls, it's not really necessary as they are already aware that the call may be recorded. What I do is when the recorded message tells me they are recording calls I say( as their recorded message talks) "I record calls too". If they're not listening when I tell them it's their fault, not mine, as they have no idea whether I am listening or not when they tell me it's being recorded.
Call recorder has saved my bacon a couple of times, and also forced my employer to obey health & safety regulations after I told him I record all phone calls when I phoned him up about a defective vehicle he expected me to use.
I now drive out of the yard and call in to ask about any defects I find. He is committed to saying on the phone either 'bring it back' (fine by me) or 'carry on - that will be alright' (I then have a recording of the boss telling me to use a defective vehicle. If I go down, so does he!).

It's illegal in this country unless you tell the caller

All the newer Xiaomi phones comes with a call recording feature (MIUI >8.0). Would be a cheap way to get a decent phone and call recording.

Yeah it will probably mainly businesses so calls are recorded on their side like you said. It's the odd call I like to keep a record of just in case it comes back on me which is only what I've been told to do so could do without the hassle. Had a few issues last year and wanted to cover my own back this time

No its not.
That's the same incorrect waffle the firms say to me.
For domestic use (personal protection etc) you are not required to tell them.

Good luck with that.

No it's not illegal. For personal use (not professional), it's perfectly legal. However, any recordings you made without their knowledge would be inadmissible in any employment or legal hearings. Please get your facts right before posting guff.
