So you want to pay 150 quid for a second hand 4 year old phone, who's spec was mediocre at best at the time of release

I've said many times I would always avoid buying refurbished phones having experience actually refurbishing them. You don't know the history of these phones, they may look nice and shiny on the outside but may not be the case on the inside.

Battery would be on the way out, unless replaced recently which is not handy to do yourself!

That's a rip off for an IPhone 5. Was it a 5s? Even if it was a 5s I'd still consider it too much given it's not a refurb from an authorised seller.

For future reference, any of the Apple deals that appear on Groupon are a rip off. The iMacs they were flogging a while back were from 2010 and the Macbook Pros were a similar vintage.

On second thoughts, scrub the bit about Apple, almost all the Groupon goods deals are overpriced

O2 were (maybe still are) selling 5S "like new" for £130. The handset I got was mint and even had apple warranty for 8 months. Think they were even available for less than £100 from O2 at one point too. Also 14 days to return if not happy with it and they are a main high street store.

So a 5 for £150 not so much a deal.
