Been with Orange now for over 5 years on PAYM, but I find the bills are ridiculously high, or is it just me?

Over £50 p/m for that? Alot of people I know seem to pay less :/

I got a free iphone 5S 16gb, 500 min, unlimited texts and web for £33 a month. It was an upgrade deal as I've been with t mobile for years. It might be the 'free' insurance that has bumped your bill up?

I've always gone to places like Phones4U who are able to get good deals accross the board. Got iPhone 5c 500mb data, unlimted calls/texts + insurance + £50 cashback right there and then for £29 p/m.

It would also be down to the phones storage size, 16gb, 32gb, 64 gb etc.

I pay £36/M for my Samsung note 3 from Vodafone.
Unlimited text, unlimited calls, 9 gb of 4g data and spotify access.
It's meant to be £48/M, but I threatened to leave vodafone at the renewal of my contract to take a deal with Phones4U. And vodafone offered me a 25% 'VIP' discount of about £12 each month.

Was first. £42/M (£31.75 with discount) with 1gb of 3g data, but upped it to 9 gb of 4g for an extra fiver a month, included free spotify or sky sports thrown in.

The iPhone 5s when it first came out they upped that contract price by a ton due to demand of the handset. I wanted to get one but it was way beyond what I could really afford monthly.

Even with the discount I think I would manage to get one for £42+ (after discount), and not have a great package of data. Would've been the 32gb model as the 16gb was out of stock for weeks on release.

Thats on my next upgrade on the 16gb version :/

I'm currently on the Samsung S3.

Robbing buggers! :-( We have 3 contracts on that account also

Have they done a replacement on your phone since owning in?

I've read into vodafone insurance, protect my bubble and about 8 other companies before deciding insurance is a scam for mobile phones. Companies try their hardest to get out of paying and if your phone is months old, they will try replace the phone with a used phone they feel is right for the age of yours.

My insurance was £15/M, did a month off it read into cheaper companies and they all make excuses not to pay. Unless you fight it, and then it's just a waste of time.

Oh and to add, any damages or replacements was £50 quid right of the bat to. The £15/M didn't cover repair fees... like what's the point charging me £15 every month if I had to pay for screen repairs of £50

Loads of times with no excess and when I did have an excess it was £15, on a previous phone they replaced it 3 times in a week due to being a very clumsy person that week.

Never had to have the S3 sent back other than once for software faults

I've got the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it was £29.99 up front & £19 per month for 500 mins, unlimited texts & 500mb data (not much data I know, but it does me!). It is a business contract, so plus VAT but we claim the VAT back. Best phone I've had to date & CHEAP!

Yeah wait until the 6 comes out then get the 5s at a better price.
