My wife and I have iPhone 7s.

Mine takes a fine picture but my wife's rear camera occasionally is ok but for the most is completely blurry.

Tried turning on and off, restarting camera app, downloading a 3rd party camera app, installing iOS 10.1 and hard reset but none of which seem to have worked.

Seems like it is constantly in macro mode but the settings are the same as mine and my photos are fine.

Going to have to contact apple tomorrow for an exchange but just wondered if anybody here has had similar issue and is there anything I have missed and may help resolve?

Have you take Off the plastic cover they come with?
Common mistake.

I managed to put a tempered glass screen protector on top of my wife's iPhone 6 screen protector. I could have sworn there wasn't one on there...

Was just about to respond and say, yep tried that too and picked up phone to give it a wipe and funnily enough camera is back to normal. But it was yesterday at different points also.

Are they that susceptible to a speck of dust?

Fingerprints can always be a pain in the ****. Always worth giving it a wipe :)

Possibly a glitch with the depth of field effect? Pretty sure it's enabled by default.
Have you tried turning it off?

Not too sure you picked up this post correctly, nothing to do with the screen. The lens on the rear of the phone has a plastic cover on it for protection.

I know someone who nearly brought they're phone back thinking that it was faultless when it was this.

Cheers, I shall try it, no idea where to find that in the settings though. Can you let me know how to navigate to it?

Thank you, I shall try this also. Didn't realise it ships with one.

Has one front and back, people just cut off the front to leave the back protected.
The other ones leave it on the front and moan they can't hear phonecalls.
