I'd go with an ipod nano, but it depends what you intend to use it for

How much are they? Are they better?

I dont think better, just more popular, so download sites for MP3's are geared to support them. They look cool and are a status symbol these days.

shuffles are good if your not bothered about what you listen to, there handy but it's a pain in the **** if you wanna listen to something certain

Yeah thats what I have been thinking too. Thats why I have been trying to find the Apple iPod Nano 2GB, but they dont seem to do any, (apart from the 1 above but only in white) Is there a reason for this?

You won't find many nano 2GB as these are no longer made by Apple. The nano range was updated last year to now include video support and come in 4GB and 8GB versions.
I've got an 8GB and can highly recommend, much better than the previous models.

Ah right that makes sense, its just the rpice of the 8gb, i dont really want to spend more than £50 and I wont need that many gb. Ill only use it to put a few songs on!! I just thought the 2gb one would have been very handy.
