Best to look at Which! website (£1 sub well worth it) - they did a detailed review of both.

Just bought BOSCH TDA8337GB which can be purchased at Amazon for £38.93 delivered - wife says best iron she has ever had and was top rated in Which!.

thanks. never been let down by Bosch, although having gotten through 3 Tefal irons in 1.5 years, I think its time for a change!

For that price I might just buy it unless anyone else has any suggestions/ideas

thanks again!

No idea to be honest apart from the fact Comet (where I got mine with the no quibble guarantee - nice replacement in three years) were also selling them at same price as Amazon which is VERY rare.

Same position as you Tefal broke re can't descale and maintainance not helped.

hmm... dunno what it is with tefals, but they just stop getting hot on the highest setting after a few months of use. so pretty much useless on bed linen and cotton clothes from the dryer

I have a Morphy Richards Jet Steam Elite+. It is brilliant!
Bought direct on net from Morphy Richards & don't forget
Quidco.
Ironing is now a pleasure, not a chore.
