Can splash up to £100 each for the 2 nights so £200 is our all in budget inc ferry and accomodation. We can go from Southampton or Portsmouth and return and outgoing times are completely flexible. We'd like to take a car over and drive around.

Had a look at Groupon who sometimes do lovely deals for 2 nights inc food, but these have all been sold out.

Any suggestions on good deals, places to stay and go, would be considered and kindly appreciated!

Hi, There is a really nice pub in Brading called the Bugal, food is good and reasonably priced. Just be aware it is family friendly and might not be quite as quite and peaceful as you would like. There are so many places to go on the Isle of Wight and there should be loads of leaflets for different places to visit at the ferry port. There is at least one vinyard on the Island and a Roman villa, if that's your thing. Or you could go fossil hunting in Freshwater. Godshill is a quaint (think jigsaw puzzle box) village and there is a sweet and glass factory at the needles (although the parking is at least £5 there). There is a garlic farm which has a shop, cafe and pleasant walks too. Whatever you like you should be able to find something you enjoy.

Hope you have a lovely trip.
