Keep an eye on bargaincrazy. they sometimes have really good offers on the beds, especially in their price plunge section.

John Lewis is very good for bits and bobs, expecially with the discount codes from the voucher section.

Tesco Direct online have also had some good offers recently.

As to white goods, like it or not, I think the DSG group might be the best for this kind of thing. There's usually a 5% discount code floating round for Currys.

I have just bought my first house and like you are hunting high and low for cheap deals to fill it up!!!!

I bought my bed from tesco direct after someone posted a great deal on this site. Im not sure if they still have the bed but it was £50 down from £200!! It was a double oak veneer bed and only £5 delivery! Bargain!!

I also bought laminate flooring from Ikea which was only just over £5 per sqr m which again is a bargain as laminate flooring goes!

With regards to white goods thankfully i only needed a washer/dryer and i managed to get that second hand from the free ads and i ended up saving over £150.

I am looking for lounge furniture.....tv unit, coffee table and book case. Of course they all need to be matching and match my antique finish laminate floor.....oh and im on a budget!!

Any ideas anyone???

I got a bed from Best Price Beds (these are cheapest bay far for the bed I wanted, Kingsize Silent Night 60th Annivesary) Fridge freezer from Dixons (Samsung silver one) this was cheapest place especially with 5% cashback with Egg. Got the washer from Tesco Home Plus, mispriced at £229 (£379 in Currys and cheapest online was £279!) Got a microwave from Comet. LG one for £39.99. Got a mirrored silver morphy richards kettle and toaster from the supermarket with the orange logo! The white goods are all silver LOL.

Just about to get a Panasonic MCE8035 vac from Makro for £39.99. Cheapest online is over £100! Its an expensive game! Must have spent about £1k over the weekend.

got a bargain Hi-fi cabinet and TV cabinet in Beech with glass doors for £20 a piece from Ebay!

Just find what you want looking at reviews on Amazon etc then when you know what model you want trawl the web for the best price.

Good luck mate!
