K810i wanted, could swap SE850i

I am currently using (and like), a SE K750i which has recently shown signs of age, and wanted to replace, but that isn't going to be possible me thinks. What I would like is a new/ish, SE K810i and wanted to know if anyone would be able to help. I do have a SE K850i that I had as an upgrade, but can't get on with it. So, with that little bit of info, can anyone throw a lifeline?.

I will be away till Tue 27th.

I have a K810i locked to O2 - would you be interested in a trade for the 850i?

I have a k800i that's unlocked. It's the same as a k810i apart from the visual appearance of it. The k810i version has a dodgy keypad

I actually prefer the keypad now , you can feel each button. The k800i has a lower power battery and an annoying camera lens cover... It also has newer software with things like Photofix. Oh, any pretty blue LEDs that appear on the keypad when it's being a camera - very handy :)

I have a SE K810i 2 month old in great condition on the orange network which I would be willing to swap

Hi guys, I am back now and would like the K810i even more now. I have to be off-line for 10 mins, but will read and respond to your posts then.

Giles & Daniel

it appears each of you have the K810i available. I trust that each are in in good/excellent working order and there is nothing wrong with them ?.

Giles, I see yours is locked to O2 and Miles's to orange. Do either of you know how you unlock them to make vodaphone available on them?.

Maybe each of you would tell me either via this thread or PM, why you wish to replace it.

My K850i has been used for a week maybe two. I bought and still have a leather case for it.

Replied to your PM, but we must deal here Kingfisher

Well my k810i is in mint condition with all box ect, there are a few tiny 'scratches' they are light doh, was where keys were in same pocket as the phone. It is unlocked and all in all like a new phone apart from my scratches

Where do you live, maybe a collection will be more safer, and also as i have a better feedback then you i would want you to send your phone first via special next day delivery, then when i receive i will send mine to you as the same.

i will PM my eBay user name so you can see you can trust me :)

Hi, OK, I have no problem with using forum, and yes, I have only made a few purchases on ebay via paypal. As for location, I'm in Northants.

I suppose it might be an idea if we were to proceed, if I sent my phone to you as you suggest, then when you are satisfied (just remembered mine is locked presumably to Vodaphone), you could send yours to me where I will be staying with family in Dorset (Swanage). If I were to post mine to you Sat first class, hopefully you'd get it Monday, but I wouldn't have much faith in receiving yours here at home before we leave on Friday. What do you think?.

Right so looking at your post, i take it you don't mind the screen having a few scratches??

I live in London, Surrey, so if i was to pm my postal address, would your send tonight as it is not yet 5pm and do special next day delivery, so its guaranteed at mine 2moz.

Then when i receive it and check it works with my contract sim (vodafone) then i will post my phone to your address

Is this a deal?

Can you reply please, kind of urgent

Ah, I didn't know/appreciate the scratches were on the screen, however small/few they may be, I'm not comfortable with that, simply because, I did almost the same with one of my older phones and as a result, I found it SO annoying and aggravating. That's when I decided that whatever phone, whatever shape I had in the future, I would use a cover. Even the motorola razr slide one and a clam one. I've just removed the leather case from my k750i and other than fluff/lint particles, the phone shines like brand new. Sorry but knowing what you now told me about the screen, I think I would prefer not to proceed, thanks anyway.

I've got a 512mb M2 card which will slot into the K810i and K850i if you'd like it

£5 delivered

yes I did say "ok no problem and you just said k750i", because that's the phone I still use, even though it's old, it is still in excellent condition. Having said that, I've noticed a stubbornness to scroll sometimes, which leads me to think that maybe the scroll button is wearing out. The K850i is in the box with all the things that came with it, contained within the shop carrier bag and ther it will stay until I swap or sell.
#17
Kingfisher I think your better off selling the K850i and using that money to buy a K810i. You'll actually get money on top rather then nothing. Even if you bought the K810i from the shops i'd say that you would still get money rather than nothing.

Interested in the 512mb m2 then?

K810i refurbs are £110 including £10 top-up at Carphone Warehouse.

Refurbs are generally brand new condition and all Carphone Warehouse phones I believe come unlocked already
