no you got to know what you're doing.its not the most user friendly.the footie streams are hit and miss unless you pay for a sub and even then it's not guaranteed

Plenty of help available over web. Kodi is a media tool. By adding Addons, you can stream movies or watch live channels. Many boxes come with pre-installed kodi app.

it's not reliable for live streaming but for movies it's great. you can download kodi on an android phone if you have one.

The search function within Ask section will give you plenty of other threads about it

Kodi is a media play and doesn't provide or support the theft of any content.

good for movies and tv series. hopeless for footy streams

brilliant for movies !! But really you will have to look at paid service for reliable football streams as the free ones are hit and miss

I'd recommend not buying a box straight away.

If you have an Android mobile phone or tablet, you should buy a Chromecast instead. The Chromecast is inexpensive (about £22ish based on deals found on this site). Its easy to use with the added bonus of getting many years out of it (its just a device that streams content via your mobile phone or tablet so doesn't need updating as often as you're phone/tablet/android box).

On your phone/tablet, install Kodi (also checkout 'Mobdro' and 'Showbox' - both apps need to be searched on Google as they aren't available via the Play Store).

Once you have Kodi installed, Google 'Sports Kodi UK addons' or 'Live TV Kodi UK addons'. You should find what you're looking for.

Live streaming isn't perfect by any means. You'll sometimes encounter buffering or no stream content. I mostly use Mobdro and Showbox as they are both great apps that are easy to use. I would sometimes use Kodi, but usually if I can't find the content I'm looking for on Mobdro/Showbox.

Perfect for film/tv show streaming, for live footy get a paid sub for hassle free viewing with next to no buffering, less than a tenner a month

Try Kodi on a laptop first, 'Exodus' for all your movies/tv shows. Plenty of tutorials on youtube if you need any help. Not that difficult at all to follow

Thank you all for your help. I already have a chromecast. So there is no need to buy this, just download the app.

Get yourself a firestick and google how to put kodi onto it with wookie. That wil get you started. You can pretty much watch anything on it but live sport can be a bit of a pain at times

It took me a night to get it working following guides off here and google but im useless with tech lol. Not everything works 100 percent but hey your pretty much stealing tv lol

Buy what? You can only stream kodi to chromecast you would need it on a laptop or something first. Kodi is free its not kodi you get the content from you need to install streams manually. Google wookie to get an idea

As mentioned it's only good for films and tv shows unless your paying a subscription for the channels/live tv. The one I'm using is £85 a year which gets all Sky Sports, BT Sports and plenty others in HD, you do get normal channels like Sky 1, Discovery etc but people mainly just want them for footie. You get to test it for 3 days, if you think it's crap no harm in trying lol

The thread is a month old, he's probably moved on.

Also Kodiak has no sports channels, it has no channels at all. You are getting confused with the third party, non kodi, add on software which are not produced by, or endorsed by kodi.
