Hello
I have just bought a fire stick last week and I have followed every video I can find.
They all say to search for Es file explorer
For some reason it doesn't come up and when I download it on my Amazon account it states it is not compatible with the fire stick?
I have looked at a number of different questions but they seems to be abit older so not sure if this has recently changed
If anyone can help that would be great
Thanks

You can also install it by side loading kodi onto a firestick using Apps2Fire app from play store, it's easier and much quicker to install kodi onto the firestick.

download apps2fire from the play store,

then grab mobdro from their website and download the app on phone, then use apps2fire to put mobdro on your firestick

Right apps2fire is much easier than any File explore.

If you cannot find it when searching then on the Fire Stick look in 'Apps', you should see it as one of the most popular free apps.

That's strange
I searched for it and installed it a few weeks ago
Just went on my firestick and searched and its gone
Have Amazon removed it ?

Do I just go on the search at the top and type it in? I have done that again and nothing comes up?

As of 30 July 2016 the new version of ES File Explorer is no longer available through Amazon download. However, it does work if you sideload it using adbfire and similar apps. Source

This brand new YT vid, shows you how to install Kodi without ES Explorer (I've not tested it myself).
