hi everyone. I need some help here. I'm looking for a laptop to use in university. my budget is about 400, 450. i'm a bit out of the market and prices.

what i should looking for at this prices??? i prefer stores like currys, pcworld, dixons and similar. not online

about specs something like this:
at least dual core processor (intel would be nice)
screen: 15
dedicated grafics
blue ray drive???
3 or more gb RAM
hard drive: 320 minimum
wifi
webcam

should i wait for christmas promotions or after in january?

any help? sugestions? please?

Check out the acer 5741 @ argos,good spec for only £399.99

Acer Aspire 5551 for £395 at Amazon is what I bought and is fine for uni

Well done getting there before this evil Government's £27,000 fees, which my son will have to pay

This Samsung laptop looks a pretty decent spec for the price at Bestbuy and with them having 15% quidco cashback this weekend looks even better at a net £350 or so ......

Amazon have matched the bestbuy price today, yesterday Amazon wanted £436 for it

Sorry its an online deal but you will struggle to get as good deals instore as people have placed

go to currys hun, there is some great laptops within that price range, i went mad looking on here and googling, and checking out reviews whilst looking for one but they have some great offers instore, xxx hope this helps x
