i'm not claiming a laptop techy but i think
this is a good machine for the price if you dont travel a lot
bluetooth and card reader are the only handy things that it doesnt have
but you can get them cheaply anyway

Thats a good deal, the 17" screen means that its not going to be the most mobile of beasts, though. If your looking for a laptop that'll spend most of its life on a desk you'll be well happy.

Also note that Asus give you a 2 year warranty on their laptops, as opposed to 1 year for the other big manufacturers, which is always a nice plus.

This was on the eblast wasn't it?

Excellent deal, but not very mobile due to the screen. As a desktop replacement, its very good.
