Is it a known problem with that model?
if so they may do it for free but I don't think they have to do with it being out of warranty.

Yes. Phone them and leave details. They will phone back after a week or so and ask for a copy of receipt to be emailed although you will have the option to do right then if you can and move to next step. Some contract providers like Vodafone offer 2 year warranty with phones although they will forward you to lg but that can be a quicker route. Lg have extended warranties beyond 1 years for this problem. I bought my G4 off ebay so they refused to repair

Try them. Had mine done but was just within the 12months. As it's a known fault they should honour it as you'll have a very easy case with the "not fit for purpose" consumer protection. You'll need proof of purchase if bought outright or your phone contract details if part of a contract. They're a bit odd but go online and register the details, you won't hear anything (not even email confirmation) for a few days then get a call from an 'engineer' asking if you've tried a hard reset - just say yes, it does nothing. They'll then talk you through arranging collection. Had mine picked up and returned within 5 days.

is it from Vodafone???

you have 2 years warranty with lg.

lg are really good with warranty. 100% better than Samsung and it came back with part replacement unlike Samsung where I had to send it off 4 times.

I had my LCD replaced a week ago because it kept flicking through different screens randomly. think it's called ghosting issue

LG worst company to deal with. I've had experience of taking them to court. I had a similar problem with another brand mobile. I let the looping discharge the battery completely and then recharge to full before switching on again. That solved my issue. Good luck!

If you don't manage to get it fixed and want another LG G4 then I have one for sale. Mine bootlooped as well however it's been repaired with a new motherboard.

I've seen reports where some have had their motherboard replaced only to boot loop again, not once but twice. My G4 is coming up for a year in March so we'll see if it happens to mine.

My G4 started to reboot itself and got hot a few times while I was using. It had not behaved like that for the previous 9 months. I thought it was odd at the time. Looking back that was the start of the clock ticking for the bootloop troubles.
