I've got the G4 and it suits me and I use mine quite a bit but couldn't comment on xiaomi cause I've never used one

I have the LG G4 it is a great phone, i cant say what the xiaomi is like having never used one.
I have had my LG on all day and have used it quite a bit sending texts, checking emails and facebook, and using facebook messenger and the hukd app, and it still has 85% battery 10 hours later.

I've got the Lg G4, can't fault it.

My LGG4 works great. SD transfer speeds are awesome compared to my S4. Picture is good as well.

I to have a g4. No lag ever. Brilliant camera. Marshmallow is brilliant. Battery lasts over a day. I never liked the lg circle case though. No edge protection and made it easy to drop. By a g4

It difficult to get mi5 now and the price is kinda high. You might be able to grab G4 in good price on vodafone

Hi.finally I bought the lg g4 based on the reviews and comments. The phone is really nice to use and intuitive. But only have one complaint-the battery life. The battery has gone from 90% to 50% within 5 hours with 2 hours of heavy usage. Is it ideal?
Note: I have enabled battery saving mode.

sounds about right if heavy use. Mine has to be charged after about 6-8 hours if using it for satnav / browsing etc.

I was surfing internet.

Its worth pointing out that after upgrading to marshmallow doing a factory reset will improve battery life after a few charging cycles.

How substantial is the improvement?

Apparently it does make a difference! I did it to my LG the other night after updating and so far it has improved the battery life. As I said it will take a few charges to see the changes. Look on XDA forums for more info.
