Line rental

i want to start using skys internet but i dont want to use bt as a landline

ive found a few companys that do line rental ..DST being one of them

but does having line rental from someone other then BT effect the broadband speed ill be getting from sky?

also whats a good company to use

i really hate BT and dont want to go back to them

currently im with virgin but there messing around with my bills so would like a change

as far as im aware you HAVE to have bt line rental but can use another company to pay for your actual calls

i have sky broadband and my line rental is through Your Calls.

This company, they do a good inclusive calls package as well.

talktalk do a good package of line rental, broadband, free evening and weekend calls to UK and free calls abroad to 36 countries.
That's £13.75 for the first 3 months and £16.99 thereafter.
That will save you line rental on BT and get free calls and broadband for next to nothing.

I have just started on it and the speed is good and I get free calls to Spain, Australia and USA!

Sky are now doing line rental get it thru them its unlimited free calls to lands lines and 25% off mobile call for £10
