aliexpress is very good from the sellers i have used

Which sellers are those?

Ioffer - lots of issues with non deliveries, Paypal which they use to accept sorted it out
Everbuying - was OK but took ages for delivery, over a month
Gearbest - bought twice, was good, delivery was about two weeks which is good for a Chinese seller.

I have never bought anything worth over £15 because you dont know if you'll get ripped off.

Banggood and aliexpress both great
i enjoyed ioffer despite long delivery times, then one time they didnt send my item and that ruined it for me

Used Gearbest 4 times no problems. Takes about two weeks but if you have a problem then you have to return to. China at your expense.

My least favourite is Geekbuying. Ordered in July, then got an email to say out of stock. Tried to cancel the order and get a refund but they ignored all 6 requests. I then got an email to say dispatched. If I do get it it will be about 10 weeks from placing the order.
Gear best are quite good, DX extreme have a Euro store if you want an item a it quicker and happy to pay about 5% extra.
Fasttech were pretty good.

Banggood very good, spent into three figures a couple of times on multiple occasions bug be warned; you absolutely do get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Tinydeal always worked for me. Takes a while to deliver but always arrived.

DX
vifocal.com, good cheap cases.

Used Gearbest, only one problem in six or seven orders, package lost using Belgium Post option...

Have also used Pandawill two or three times, always been good to me so far...

I stopped using DX years ago, no real reason why, just started to sell tat and most of it became cheaper/more accessible on ebay. I've spent a few hundred quid on gearbest across about 20 orders, never had an issue, but I've heard if you do have a problem it can be a nightmare. I've spent a few thousand on aliexpress over probably 150+ orders. Never had any real problems, or when I did have a problem like a fake memory card they've always refunded me when I raised a dispute and provided evidence (H2testw).

I was finding that the price differentials for low end stuff was cheaper or equivalent on Ebay / Amazon albeit with long delivery times.
