I have looked at flyglobespan.com but when i rang them i was hung up on which honestly doesn't give me the greatest of confidence booking flights with them! especially since i can't find any one who has flew wih them before or any reviews! i've been looking for other airlines but all i can find are flights with stops in other cities in between. looking to book in october

When are you looking to go in octobe andreaelvis? As half term for kids will bump up the costs in the middle of the month

Globespan are good.....I work as a travel agent and have a few passengers booked with them on there New York flights over the summer.

Check there website as I think they charge extra if you book over the phone.

Globespan are a pretty decent airline, I've used them a few times to go to Malaga and Tenerife. My parents use them all the time and neither of us have had any problems with them. They have always been pretty reliable. Mancbabe is correct they do charge more if you book over the phone.

Globespan have flown mainly from Scottish airports but are now expanding into Manchester, Liverpool, Gatwick and have a number of new routes this year from a number of different airports.

Unlike most low cost carriers they do allocate you seat numbers at check in so no scrum to get onboard.

Really, I am looking for some good reviews on them but all i've read so far has been negative, flights being delayed for hours, toilets backing up ETC!
I'm looking at their buisness class from liverpool-new york return OCT 17th until OCT 22nd which totals £1994.94. is this the cheapest i would get it? i've never booked a flight myself before so i have no idea of the prices!

I work in travel and don't put up with bad service from an airline, hotel or tour operator. If I had any of the issues you mentioned with Globespan then I wouldn't fly with them ever again. They are a low cost airline so never going to be as good as a full service airline but I can honestly say neither me or anyone I know who uses them has had an issues.

I also used to be Cabin Crew for a few airlines, when the toilets get blocked it tends to be the fault of passengers stuffing paper towels, half boxes of tissues etc down the toilets! Not really the airlines fault when that happens!

Reckon you would get cheaper from Manchester but not business class it would be economy, will have a look and see what else I can find for you.
