Looking for 100% cotton baby/toddler socks - any ideas?

Not sure if I should be posting this in Misc or Deal Requests, but...

I've been trying for weeks. Baby boy has eczema, so I need socks that are 100% cotton as opposed to 'cotton rich'. John Lewis were supposedly selling them, but when they arrived they were actually 28% nylon so had to go back.

Spirit of Nature are looking at a fortnight for delivery, and the other organic type shops seem to charge the earth for delivery or only have newborn sizes. Would love it if anyone knows of somewhere that would sell socks that are 100% cotton (or 99% + elastane is ok), age 12-24 mths approx, shoe size 3-5 approx, boys colours.

Thank you!

ah that must be hard, I guess you have you tried the usual shops like m&s and mothercare?

http://www.spiritofnature.co.uk/acatalog/babysocks.html

They look good, 3 pairs from £2.95 and postage from a pound (didn't check though)

Also in case you didn't know its the laureth sulphates (might be spelled wrong) that you find in most bath and shampoo products that irritates skin. Asda do a fairly cheap range in the baby section with nothing in, they smell nice too. hth

sorry just looked again and it seems the size you need is all on slow delivery appart from one at 3.95 and its per pair, not the pack of 3 it shows in the pic. sorry, can't believe its so much for one pair of small socks!

Thanks for trying! I nearly bought the Spirit of Nature ones the other day, but delivery time was far too long - need something for going on hols next Tues. I see now that one has come down to 2-3 days, but like you say, at £4 a pair, plus delivery it's ridiculous. I want at least 4 pairs, so that's £20. And they'd all have to be green stripes! Might just have to stomach that though unless anything else miraculous appears.

Have tried just about every shop you can think of, both in the street and online. Why so difficult?!!

Thanks for those. The first one is in the US unfortunately, or would have been perfect but I need something for next week.
Second one is out of stock for everything our size.
Have ordered 2 pairs of the bamboo which is a good deal, but it only let me select one of each size as it said there wasn't enough stock. I chose one of each size, paid £5, then went back in and it still lets you buy one of each size...so I'm unsure whether they'll ever arrive or not! Thanks for the effort though, fingers crossed!

I got nappies from the bamboo one and they were very quick

Thanks.
Can't find any socks on the eczema clothing site except 0-4 months (I need 1-2yrs), though they do have some nice things that I might look at after hols.

The natural collection ones at £4.95 are cool, but again they don't sell them for toddlers - 3-4yrs seems to be the youngest!

Tried ordering the American ones, but it's not letting me place the order for some reason - it's through Amazon.com.

The order I did place yesterday with Spirit of Nature, that was on 2-3 day delivery...got an email today saying it's now 22 days, so cancelled that.

Why does nobody sell socks for 1-yr-olds?!

I think the sizes quoted might be shoe sizes rather than ages, I have emailled them for confirmation so will let you know - in which case they would have child shoe size 4-5, which is probably what you are after ... I'll post back when I get an answer!

OK - just had an answer - they are definitely listed by shoe size NOT age, so they have all the sizes! Hope you get the ones you want! :)
