Bought a 40" Sony Bravia from Costco for £552 with 5yr warranty. If you don't have a Costco card then it's £599 at M&S but you can get quidco cashback that will bring the price down slightly, found it on HUKD originally. This is the TV:-

apart from the five years warranty the only reason sum1 should ever buy that marks and spencer bravia is if they have no freeview in the area and literally rely on freesat other wise its a waste of money, its brother version without freesat and normal built in freeview has been down to £400 in the past

you could do a lot worse than the P42x10 panny plasma from comet evn though i dont like the bezel currently at £475

everyone has raved about them ever since they started, its worth noting use the website reevoo.com, it gives you a lot of consumer reviews generally and works as a good price comparison, id always type in any tv i was looking to buy there as a foundation for quality and price
