We hired an 8 berth static caravan at the Haven site in Cornwall, the caravan was privately owned and we only paid £150 for a week in June. Loads of stuff for the kids to do and the private caravans are right next to the sand dunes!

If you have Tesco vouchers (Tesco clubcard) you can use them against Butlins holidays and that sort of stuff at four times the face value of the voucher.

Hiya,

I hope this helps you out...
Hagerston Castle is one of the best Haven caravan parks ever, it has got loads of entertainment for both adults and kids. I have been to quite a few parks over the years but found this to be the best. I have been loads of times and plan to go loads more...

i really like the look of that haggerston castle place do u think that aa route planner is accurate?just dont fancy driving for 5 and a half hours especially with 5 kids in the car!

I always find AA autoroute is very generous with their timings - you could probably knock up to an hour off that time ... obviously it depends how fast you drive and if you hit any traffic though.

You can't beat butlins for kids, its so much better than Haven and Pontins!! Don't know where u from but sounds like you could be in the NW. If you can get to Bognor Regis Butlins you and the kids will never be bored, theres tons of stuff down there to do. If thats too far, we have not long came back from Butlins Skegness (£48 each 4 nights silver half board). Again theres tons to do onsite and the site has been done up during winter. Love going to both!

Takes about 3 1/2 to skegness with a stop on the motorway and about 7-8hours to bognor regis. They both really good but if you can make it to Bognor there is a lot more to do in the area, including the Isle of Wight which is gorgeous in the summer.
