Going away for a little break this week and looking to get a good quality HD video recorder to capture the holiday, need it for this weekend so it looks like only local shops like comet, currys,Argos and Asda etc. Anyone got any brands that may be good for me,has to be high def and as cheap as possible.

Have a look at the reviews for the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10. Seems to get good reviews have a look at clips on youtube too. Asda have it on at £97 or jessops at £99. You will need a SD card too 4GB gives about 1 hour of HD footage.
