Welcome to HUKD!

Are you looking for a mono or colour printer? Also, do you need a network (ethernet) connection or just USB? Is it for home or office use?

Sure if you give this info there will be lots of people happy to help, mate.

Thanks a lot bjmcghee for the welcome. I would be using the printer heavily for printing several drafts of my assingments and educational reports so I am looking for the minimal cost per print plus a low price of printer.

Thats why I am not particular about ethernet or usb and I don't want wireless capability as well. Also, a monochrome will be great.

I have a lexmark 2300n inkjet printer and it costs me quite much because the cartridge needs replacement or refilling every now and then.

Waiting for suggestions anxiously .

This one is £45.73 delivered using supersaver delivery from Ebuyer: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132539

Or £44.74 delivered for this one: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/112339

What is your budget? Lexmark inkjets are notoriously expensive to get inks for so the cost of about 3 ink cartridges would probably get you either of those laser printers.

There are some sites that give you price per page results for printers, so it might be worth Googling for that info.
