Are there any digital camera's that let you plug a USB stick directly into them so you can move pics from the SD memory card to the USB without the need of a PC?

E.g. do some Android based cameras allow for OTG transfers?

Thanks

I think some come with Bluetooth or WiFi if that is an alternative.

Have you thought about Eye-Fi. Its an Sd card that can send to your pc, cloud and phone via its own wifi signal.

or get an SD card reader to plug into the otg cable? Using your mobile to transfer them to a USB stick, or backup to cloud from phone.

Blimey that's a nifty bit of tech!
Thanks for the pointer, I'd certainly look into this.

Planning a tour of the far east and don't want to lug a laptop around to offload pics as I go along.

Been using it for years. I have them auto upload to my phone whilst on the go.

Just get a USB memory card reader

Wifi is a slow way from experience. Best option is card reader.
#9
plenty of cameras can share the pics straight to phone/tablet by creating their own wifi hotspot

Offload, as in transfer them from the camera's memory card to an external storage medium? Why not just swap memory cards, or buy a decent size one?

All valid points - was just looking to see what tech is out there.
Eye-Fi is certainly 'new skool' stuff but at a premium compared to a standard SD card.
A couple of 32GB cards should see me through my adventures

For £9 or less you could also get a Transcend USB On the Go Smart Reader for Android Smartphone and Tablet
so you can backup the data to your phone.
