Hi,

looking for an LCD TV, 1080p and 100mhz. I;ve got the following in mind:

LE40A656A1FX and LE40A656A.

Budget is really £650 max,, have looked at the Toshiba ones too, but the clarity of the Sumsang's is just too good.

Anyone know of any good deals around? Or have any other recommendations?

Would recommend Sony over Samsung but they are both great TV's.

However if you're looking for great value Richer Sounds have this 42" Hitachi for £600 at the moment.

Thanks for tips. John Lewis prices are way to high.

The hitachi is nice but need the freeview option also find the 42" a bit too big for my living room.

in 5 years time it'll be 2014. dya really think they'll still repair your TV or even still make the parts?
you'll end up getting a partial refund based on the age of the set towards getting a new one.

there wont be anything like for like to replace it with by then.
