Looking for a PCI-E Graphics card for around £50

Hello all,

I upgraded my PC a little while ago and used an old graphics card I had. The card has now died, so I need a new one - unless I use onboard NVIDIA GeForce 6150 graphics :-)

I would like to play some games, but given my budget I am not expecting to run a superfast system at max detail settings. PC is mainly used for photograph manipulation / retouching / office apps and online work.

My PC has a Biostar MCP6P motherboard and AMD Athlon II Quad X4 630 2.8GHz AM3 processors. It has 4GB DDR2 800Mhz memory and my HP Widescreen Monitor recommends that the display is run at 1680 x 1050 (this is the setting I use for Windows 7). Monitor uses standard VGA-type connector.

Slot space is very limited, but there is one PCI-E x16 slot and the other thing that will restrict my choice is the 450w PSU.

I have seen on some old threads here that a Radeon 4830 card was recommended to someone else, but I don't know if that would still suit or if there is anything else I should consider?

I am not desperate to get one straight away and would also be prepared to buy second hand if I knew what I should be looking for at this price.

Card recommended previously was from XFX Shop at £49.99 (plus delivery), but site says that a 500watt power supply is needed:
