Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looking for a reasonably priced decent vacuum cleaner that wont break down after 4-6 months usage. Any good deals out there atm?

Also, need to buy a few smallish tools and was wondering whether it would be cheaper getting them online vs buying them at my local Robert Dyas?

Many thanks in advance

I had a bissell lift off (the blue one) for just over £100 delivered, had it about a year now and it's fab!
My husband researched it for a long time and it came out really well in all the reviews, was rated as much better than all the dysons.
I think we got it from empire direct.

What tools are you after - hammer, screwdriver, pliers etc or something else?

Dyson. A little expensive up front, but fixed price service including bits in your own home is great.

As for tools: Try www.screwfix.co.uk

Tools - I have all the basics but need a few smallish things like a level, handle to put sandpaper on so as to not lose the last of my fingerprints lol etc

Wilkinsons will have most of what you need at reasonable price IMO. Certainly block for sandpaper as this is where I got one a few months ago.

for the basic sorts of tools the poundshop can be great if you have a local one. Our local poundshop in Tamworth is fab for that sort of thing.
