Promised my partner a laptop for her new job and need help from all readers and site users

Budget upto £500
Need something strong which will not be outdated within 6 months
Need wireless, good graphic card (preferably not integrated)
She needs the laptop for work, watching movies and gaming for me.

As I am not an expert, please guide me, much appreciated

even so mate.. you cant really upgrade an laptop without expense, where as a desktop is upgrade-able with ease at 1/2 the cost. Your choice, but thats what I advice everyone that asks that question! :thumbsup:

For £500, you'll only get one that's outdated now, it'll be nearly a museum piece in six months. :roll:

What you really want is the best bargain for under £500. Since Dell put their prices up, the best buys I've seen lately are, surprisingly, the refurbisheds at PCWorld.

Try dell outlet and keep checking the stock they do have some good deals on sometimes.
