Hi myself and some girls are hoping to go away for a weekend of shoppping and clubbing in leeds either 27th March or 3rd April looking for somewhere nice to stay that does breakfast not at an un godly hour and reasonably priced
Close proximity to the action so we can roll in to bed rather than having to rely on taxis.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Just one night?

As holiday inn have 2 for 1 nights so two nights and the city centre express would be £50.

The cheapest is the etap hotel. It's about £35 for 3 people over the weekend per nite. Not the most attractive hotels but does the job for the nite.

I have been for 3 weekends away in Leeds, great shops, great nightlife.

For me, the atmosphere on a night out in Leeds is completely different to going out in Notts or Derby.

All you get in Notts is idiots with attitude, its a lot more friendly atmosphere up north in general I have found. (Liverpool and Newcastle the same)

i think its 3* or 4* hotel, it was lovely and right in the centre of town beside train station.

have been able to book it online usually for about 80 quid for the room

We did Leeds for a girly night out and booked a serviced appartment:

http://www.vistaservicedapartments.co.uk/

No breckie but we just cooked our own fry up... worked out about £35 each (there was 6 of us in 2 different apartments).
Very plush and within 5 mins walk of the Mojo bar that Chris Moyles goes on about - we also 'hung-out' with a number of the cast from Emmerdale and Hollyoaks whilst we were there!

Jaquie was the contact person and she even allowed us to have last 'check - out' of 2pm on the sunday as we knew we wouldn't be fit to leave at 11am like many hotels expect.
