Hi guys

My sister has asked me to look for a Giant Ninky Nonk Train, from In the Night Garden apparently it must be the big one with lights and sounds, its the only thing her little lad keeps telling everyone he wants for Christmas so I would really appreciate it if anyone could let me know if they have seen it and if so the best price.

Thanks in advance

ALL ABOARD THE NINKY NONK-BUT NOT FOR LONG

Advantages: COLOURFUL, TOUGH WEARING, APPEALLING TO FANS
Disadvantages: DOES NOT STAY TOGETHER (ALTHOUGH MAY HAVE A NEW AND IMPROVED VERSION)

The Ninky Nonk train is the mode of transport on the ground for the"In the night garden" characters. It is often seen at the beginning and is used many times in the stories. It is a little train which goes really fast and gives a bumpy ride to the characters on board whilst taking them to various places in the garden.

lol and when did i start bein rude?? all i sed was no wonder theres none in stock with people like that around! didnt include any names did i?? and i didnt just mean her in particialur atcually so before start goin off on a rant you should read things properly

I am not ranting , I am correct with UKHD rules on being personal as I have just read them, yet again you do it to me.
I think you need to avoid such remarks or simply dont comment ,There are too many people far too willing to row and cause trouble in this forum.
There is a forum where you can chat about misc and opinions on matters, THIS is for deal requests and the person simply suggested a option, the op declined such a high price which is fair. However people were rude, and I commented that there was no need for it.
I find it all very childish and against UKHD rules of posting in forums. Go and look, have a read, either way, I will not resort to being personal as you have. It is unnecessary and not my way at all.
You can however carry on if it makes you happy. :-D

I totally disagree with you to be fair, I think that she has gone completely against the rules.

She admits she already knows the item is hard to come by, yet instead of announcing where it can be found at the RRP! (or even cheaper as is the purpose of this site) she bought a whole load and then used this site to advertise the fact that she has the toys no one else can get and we can buy them for double the RRP.

And on the basis that its only 10th December I wouldnt say it was exactly leaving it until last minute.

I have posted the debenhams link in the forum now and pleased to see that someone else has already benefited from it and got the ninky nonk for £28 like I did. She said they were as expensive as £100 on ebay!

I aggree that £100 is far too much, however people need to feel they can freely post here without being atacked, I see daily, people requesting deals and someone els offering a price for one they have, then they work something out.
This is why this forum exists, and again this section is for help with things like that. It is not to be mean or rude. (that does not mean I am saying you were) I simply pointed out its not nice when someone replies to a post telling you of a item your looking for!
I am not talking about her having so many or vcharging so much I too think it greedy. I am sorry but yes I think buying a much wanted, popular christmas toy on the 10th of Dec is leaving it late, but that is your choice.
You will also see my first input in this was trying to help you too find the toy, and the link was the one and it was helpfull and I am glad you have it, but I stick by what I said, I dont ever feel there is need to be negative ( not aimed at you but as a whole) to someone who tried to help in any way.
People need to know they can suggest things freely that is the purpose of this forum :-D

:whistling: no wonder theres no in stock anywhere with people like that around!!!!!

xxjadexx
Yeah but people wouldnt have to if you didnt buy them all to start with!!!

This was your input in this thread, no link to a place where the op could buy or get the item in question, just rudness to another member. You looked at this thread but did not offer any help or look for the toy ( as I did) Instead you decided to be personal with a member. This is clearly against forum rules, It looks as if you joined the conversation for that purpose alone.
I am sure you have heard the saying if you have nothing nice to say.........................

I am not saying what that person is doing is right I am saying that this section is not the place to discuss it, it is causing trouble, and it is clear you did not comment in any other way other than to say the above to another member, yes that is rude.

Well all i can say to that is that there is a hell of a lot of greedy people out there just like myself!!!Have you actually seen how much other people are selling these for?I thought i was being quite reasonable LOL!!! Ah well think what you like, everyone's entitled to an opinion after all.

exactly i wasnt just meaning you, or even about the ninky nonk, there are so many people out there that do it thats all i mean with everything not just toys

If you had read you would see there was nothing insulting or rude in my comments, thats your style, not mine!

Look, thank you very much for making a reply to my Deal Request, however if I had known it was going to turn out like this then I wouldnt have posted it. I dont appreciate you quoting what I have said, certainly not over something so trivial. Its got nothing to do with you when I start my christmas shopping. However it obviously wasnt left too late because I got it!

I think you need to give it a rest now.

You are simply lovely! such a nice person, you must be a joy to know!
you ask for help, allow another member to be rude, and when that is brought up by me, you protect the mean, rude member and join in. EVERYONE CAN CLEARLY SEE WHAT SHE WROTE, I DID NOTHING BUT SHOW UP A TROUBLE MAKER IN HERE.
I offered help to you, she joined chat to badger somone, NICE!
I think people will think twice before offering you help again

I thought you could only offer items that were at rrp or lower on here anyway so therefore the ebay person with all the ninky nonks should not be telling us about them on here

Yes your right, they cant sell them here at that price, but I'm not sure if she can tell somone who has requested /looking for that item  thing is the lady said she listed them at 99p which is well below rrp, but with bids they were going for double the rrp wow!
I guess people will pay if their kiddies want something badly, like the go go hamster.
They should make pleanty and extra at christmas so they dont sell out :-D

to be fair,i did not realise that this was a bargain site when i posted on here.I just saw on google that someone was after a ninky nonk so thought i'd let them know where they could get one.Mind you,if i'd have known that it would just turn into a bitchfest then i wouldn't have bothered.

You tried to be of help to the op, dont be put off, not everyone on here is like that I can assure you :-D
If your items were listed as starting of 99p then that is well below rrp and you were right to post about your item.
I have not been and checked and dont know if what that lady is saying is true, but either way, you only tried to help, that was nice of you :-D

see you say what you want, be unpleaseant to people who tired to help you then post comments such as give it a rest and mind your own busniess! yet you posted here asking for help!
I flagged the comments that were rude towards the lady who tried to help you. You can clearly see that was her only input!
To insult someone, she didnt offer you help finding the toy as I did.
I will always speak out when people are being rude when there is no neeed, there is far too much bullying in forums, end of story, she tried to HELP you!
#22
Just looked lady who is selling items some are £40-55 buy now, yet a couple started at 99p, as all in same place not sure how that works with posting them here, I still think there was no need to be rude to her though.
[Holiday Pirates]#23
omg!!!! I havent been rude to anyone, I merely stated my opinion - your obsessed
