This is for my sister's PC that I am to upgrade on my next visit.
PC will get new mobo, 160GB SATA Barracuda HD, 512Mb Ram, new quiet PSU

now I need a good card with budget £40-£50, it has to have passive cooling

so far I found ATI Radeon 9550 256Mb DDR/DVI/VGA/TVout for £35.63 from Ebuyer

Cheers guys

512MB Sapphire Radeon X1550 AGP4x/8x 128Bit 800MHz GDDR2, GPU 550MHz D-Sub/DVI/S-Video, Retail LN17481

£64.61 (free delivery if you are a member of Hexus or several other forums.)
For less than £50 your best card will probably be the 6600gt, do not get that 9550, it is quite an old card and not worth anywhere near that price.

Here is one mate, you will not find much better (if any) in AGP format for under £50 brand new.

Ah crap, just noticed passive cooling. Forget my post. I will see what I can dig up.

You can still get a better card than that 9550 you posted for less cash and also passive cooled.
Here are a couple for you, it all depends on what you want it for. The 6200 series are not great gamers but will play all games just not at any detail ramped up. If it is for a media PC then they are spot on.
Here is a 128mb version for just £27.60 + postage, it has D-sub, DVI, S-video out.

Also there is the 265mb version at £34:

Here is another 128mb card even cheaper at just £23.49:

Or if you want to stretch the budget a bit you can advance to a much better card in the passive cooled 256mb 7600GS at £69.90:
cheers for advice, I will not insist on passive cooling if the fan is quiet (like the one on my 7900gs), 7600GS looks a good one and has passive cooling...may stretch my budget, shame they don't have it in stock, will see if they have it elsewhere
You can always buy any card you want and fit a silent aftermarket cooler if quietness and performance are both key issues.
