The first thing you need to post is what internet provider are you with ?

I have tried countless times to port forward the PS4. I have a BT Home Hub 5 and taken information from portforward.com. After trying 3 times and cross checking the changes I can confirm it simply does not work for PS4!

I have BT Fibre at 76meg but the PS4 only indicates 60meg

I have an XB1 and before port fowarding it gave me 10meg!? After port forwarding it gave me a true 76meg connection

If you get anyone tell you they have successfully port forwarded a PS4 so that it changed the NAT type please ask them for what steps they took.

i have looked at port forward.com andit goes way over my head my friend says about openingports on my router i have to do 4 or something i dont know im so confused lol

Once you have obtained which port numbers are involved it's relatively easy making the changes on your routers administration web page.

Thinking about it..if your have your headset chat comms working all OK and your game runs fine I wouldn't bother giving yourself the headache mate.

Why do you want to change it from moderate to open?
Are you having issues? I ask as my old sky router always made the Nat as moderate yet I never had any issues connecting or connection issues worked perfectly even with a moderate nat

hi i understand about all the questions because its not like i gave any details lol my bad. Ok here goes im with sky its 70mb down and 20mb up. My actual speed playstation recieves is 34mb down and 9mb up using a eithernet cable. I stream gameplay to youtube while im playing (live streaming). I understand that there is not much difference between moderate and open nat types but there is a difference im not paying for 70mb to get half because of nat type issues. if anyone will be willing to talk me through how to do it on each page on my router web page i can supply pictures if needed of each page if that helps

70 isn't the speed you will necessarily receive.. Why do people still not know this? It is the maximum you would get, not a minimum or an exact.

i do know this the speed it what goes through my line to my device but due to stuff like where the router is and how close the device your using is to your router will depend on what speed you have but i have 1 device so its not being shared by multiple devices and im using a eithernet cable to connect but thanks for your concerns

http://www.speedtest.net

70 is the highest speed possible on your plan but hardly anyone will actually get that.. Check the speed your actually getting using the above link
