Has anyone used an Alba one?http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5769298
Dodgy battery life on those.

I highly recommend you spend a little more and get the Lenovo Tab 3 8 Inch tablets for £89.99 each. They have 2GB of RAM. If that means little to you, it means they will run faster and have less lag. Android needs 2GB of RAM at least to work optimally. The 1GB of RAM in the Alba tablets is insufficient.

My daughter has the Kindle Fire. There's plenty of games on Amazon Underground which are completely free, which is useful.

Agree with the lenovo tab 3 8 inch comment above. Just got one via argos ebay, with the additional 10% discount. Pressie for my wee lad :O) He should be chuffed, as it will make for the ideal replacement for his aging wikipad :O)
