Earphones or headphones?
I know you wrote headphones but sometime people don't realise that there is a difference.

Had a quick look at the best buy list from which.co.uk review site:

Sennheiser HD 435

BEST BUY

£30 from Amazon.

The Sennheiser HD 435 are chunky grey headphones with orange earpads. They're a bit bulky but they offer good sound. Our panel described them as having 'good bass' with a 'dynamic', 'spacious' and 'well balanced' sound.

The Sennheiser HD 435 rest on your ears, rather than covering them but they're closed back and are fairly good at stopping sound leakage. However, they're not very good at blocking unwanted noise and they don't have a noise cancelling feature.

Despite being bulky, the Sennheiser HD 435 aren't very heavy – they weigh 190 grams. The detachable single-sided cable is over 3 metres long and has an integrated volume control so you can sit at a distance from your stereo and still be able to alter the sound levels. And if you want to take them out and about, you'll like the practical carrying bag.

The Sennheiser HD 435 are comfortable and very easy to fit. The padded headband is easy to adjust - our panel gave it top marks for fit.

You also get a 3.5mm to quarter inch adapter so you can plug it into your hi-fi.

Pros: Good sound, very easy to adjust the fit, comfortable, very easy to use.

Cons: Poor at blocking out unwanted noise.

Sennheiser PX 100

BEST BUY

£20 from Amazon.

The Sennheiser PX 100 are great value. They're almost identical in design to the Sennheiser PXC250 but on-ear and with open-backed pads which look like mini alloy wheels. Sound is clear and bright with good, full bass.

The Sennheiser PX100 rest on your ears, rather than over them and have open-backed earpads. They're average at stopping sound leakage but not very good at blocking unwanted noise and they don't have a noise cancelling feature.

The Sennheiser PX 100 are light and compact – perfect for portable use. You can fold them up and fit them into a hard case - like those you get with sunglasses – which fits in a large pocket.

They weigh 65 grams and the Y-shaped cord, with a small plastic clip for holding the cords together is 137cm.

The Sennheiser PXC 100 are comfortable to wear and it's really easy to adjust the fit. The headband is padded and the ear pads have soft leatherette covers. Both the headband padding and the earpads are easily replaceable too. Contact your local independent store or get in touch with Sennheiser directly.

Pros: Good sound, light and compact, comfortable, easy to adjust the fit, easy to use, replaceable ear pads and headband padding.

Cons: Poor at blocking out unwanted noise.

Hmm.... I don't quite like the design of the Sennheiser HD 435 and the PX100 are not the type I am looking for, I think I will have a browse round first.

Hmm.... that is interesting and it looks really nice too. I just read some review about them and they seem to be quite good. The website looks quite interesting too, a bit like our American cousin woot.com. I think you might just have helped me made up my decision.

Thanks Seal!

Done, just bought one of the Skullcrusher.

I think the difference is that this website is BRITISH! Woohooo
