You will need to check on that Saturday about engineering works, the West Coast can be closed on the Trent Valley so pendos will divert via Birmingham, meaning the departures could be earlier.

I can't remember when the winter timetable comes in... Virgin are upgrading their services with more frequencies and faster times but this doesn't come into it till later in Dcember (I think)
Groupsave is only valid from stations within the south east rail network area.
do you need a group save card or anything

no, just select it from the drop down box, :thumbsup:
Make sure you book under the trainline and use a family railcard, it will honestly save you a fortune and don't forget quidco.

Remember to book as early as possible, as prices fluctuate as the occasion gets closer and will be hectic around christmas,, so you'll pay a lot more, so make sure you book asap, as the prices will increase literally every day.

P.S There's no such thing as a group discount as far as I'm aware, but each kid will can travel for literally a couple pounds each and make sure your visit cheaper too with the family railcard.

Hope that helps. :)
Would you consider getting the Megabus, that will probably just be the cheapest, just looking at prices and times;

08:45 Depart Manchester Chorlton Street
Arrive London, Victoria Coach Station 13:30 16 seats = £75.50

18:30 Depart London, Victoria Coach Station
Arrive Manchester Chorlton Street 22:55 16 seats = £82.50
also try national express trains they do a good deal if you book in advance u get tickets alot cheaper
I agree with realfriendlyman, a family and friends railcard is the way to go. It has saved me a fortune
thank peeps rep added for all you were all so helpful
