I second Thailand. I lived there for 6 years and have spent every christmas bar one there since moving home. Its beautiful and the weather is perfect in December.

How long should I stay min. in Thailand and how you fly there(what airline) which hotel have you used?

I would try to fly direct - Thai Airways are excellent. It takes around 11.5 hours from Heathrow. As to time, I know people who go for a week, but for me I'd say at the very least 12 nights. You'll lose roughly 1 day each way travelling. I'd stay in Bankgkok for 3/4 nights then onto a beach for a week.
It all depends what you're into though. I've never been for less than 3 weeks myself, and that isn't enough time.

If you are flying from London then i would choose Eva Air everytime. Cheaper than rivals usually and yet they have service which is second to none. I have been once for 2 weeks, but it was to pack up my stuff to return home.

If you want to book accomodation then agoda.com, asiarooms, sawadee are good places to start.
Without saying what sort of things you want from the holiday i can not really go in to more details.
If you give an idea of what you want from your hotel i can suggest some. Also any things you like to do activities wise, or do you simply want to lie on a beach? Do you want to be with a certain age range, love drinking etc, etc.

Thailand is worth the flight, its a fab place. I often think about how i miss being over there.

Cyprus was nice in December. We went on the 12th for two weeks and temps averaged 22 degrees.

Best holiday we ever had was a trip to South Africa, spent Christmas Day at the Cape.

It was inexpensive to dine out and find hotels then, think prices may have changed since.

I just like to enjoy the sea/pool , good food and maybe a bit sightseeing if its not too hot.
Do you fly direct to Bangkok ,is this the best region to stay for a beach holiday?
Could I buy tickets from Asia for the return flights, would this be cheaper?
A simply , clean Hotel, with a nice Pool would be good enough, its the nice weather I'm looking for.

I just was worried about where to fly, because I don't know where at this time is maybe a rainy season or bad weather.

December/January is the ideal time to go to Thailand - it is the 'cool' season. This means low rainfall and temepratures around 30C. There is no beach close to Bangkok, you would need to travel out a little. Pataya is around 3 hours by road, which is OK if you like Blackpool! I would catch a connecting flight on to Krabi.
Check out http://www.airasia.com for dirt cheap flights around Asia.
