I replaced my z3 compact with the Xperia X compact and thus far really liking it. Only downside is losing the waterproof features but seeing as my z3 once got water damaged anyway I don't feel like I am missing out on much

agreed, the x compact is probably the only phone which could compete size and spec wise.

xperia z5 compact(IP68 certified - dust/water proof over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes) .i think z5 is better than x compact . 8)

I'd say the P2 is a bit large for somebody looking for a small screen phone.

I couldn't rule out a 5" phone, as long as the bezels are small.

S7 crazy as it sounds I've bought one to upgrade from a Z3C

Xperia XA1 (and XA from last year) looks quite good (5" but very slim side bezels). *Only* got a 720p screen though. Fairly cheap. X Compact seems the natural progression. It might be worth looking at Apple (e.g. iPhone 6 (4.7" screen)). Very expensive compared to the X Compact though

How is it, as that's what I am looking to change to from my z3c? I thought size wise when comparing in store, the s7 didn't look too big.
Is the Samsung software very different?
