Hi All

Just wondered if any one knew of any decent deals on Apple Leopard. I have it on my IMAc but need to upgrade my macbook.

Unfortunately I cant upgrade my IMAC to a family licence which is a bit of a pain, I suppose one way to make more money

Anyway deals gratefully received

Would love to find this out too - anyone know if there are any good value LEGAL copies from online retailers out there?

What would the HUKD stance be on selling the copy that came with my Macbook Pro? (the laptop itself is now fubar'd due to a falling of a bench.)

Mac install discs (the grey discs) are normally machine specific ie you cannot use iMac install dvds on a MacBook Pro....

So, yes, you could legally sell your MacBook Pro discs (there are always a few on eBay).

Tick9 - do you have access to a USB caddy for your MacBook hard disc and/or a 6pin to 6pin firewire cable ??

Or do you know any students ??????

you can pick up some of the drop in box leopard discs on Ebay for about £50.

these are the full retail versions that they dropped in the box when you bought your apple mac on the day of the Leopard launch, due to it not being pre-installed for obvius reasons.

I know it to be a full retail as we bought 3 machines and they opened them up to take 2 of the discs out.

they told us one would do fine for all the machines.
