You should be alright to take it at the age of 17, although the only supplement I would recommend you to take is Whey Protein. Dont bother with all this Creatine, cyclone, norateen etc. Heavy training and and high protein diet will have you putting on size in no time.

Ok if you are the kinda guy who cant put on any weight easily then eat eat eat! you wanna be on about 3500 cals a day of high protein low fat, think fish, chicken, pasta, rice, oats.
You are fine to take whey at 17, make sure you dont overtrain musclegroups.

for inspiration and very helpful people, i suggest the bodybuilding.com forums

Cyclone has done wonders for me, I got a local guy in Kent that supplies me all my Supplements and stuff, I'd reccomend it and it'll have you wanting to eat more and more after a week to 10 days on it... Tescos sell it at a fair price.

If you've not had 'supplements' before you'll probably need to try a few before you find the one that agrees with you and your body.
Most 'gainers' find that some supplements make them sick them straight back up, some give you severe wind (that stink) and some are just fine.

It might take a few goes to get the one for you, but don't get disheartened - its worth it in the end buddy.

There is so much advice out there on this and you'll have ya head spinning before long if you read too much on the bodybuilding websites, just remember it ain't gonna happen overnight, but in three months differences will be noticable.

Good luck

Just thought i'd let you know, i've just posted a topic regarding maximuscle vouchers, as there is a generic code for £5 off all orders over £30 that i've been using many times for over a year now.

The deal can be found at:

Hope that helps :)
