Meant to feedback actually:

Booking online, I now regularly take my Mum or Dad to Cineworld using Meerkat plus a senior. It's a little bit cheaper.

Had absolutely no issues whatsoever 8)

I see, so are you saying stick to keeping it as an 'adult' ticket?

Okay, so that goes against the above... So you only pay for a child?

yup. pay for the cheapest. I've always done it. there no issue whatsoever.

Nope
You have to pay for the higest prices ticket.
Discount only works if you have say 2x students or 2xseniors

Only way round it would be for the senior to buy the tickets and play dumb.

Grr, I'm just going to have to play dumb on the night then... It's obviously not that clear then, no one here seems to know for sure and I can't find anything in the T's and C's?

...waits to be proven wrong :{

Nobody can give you a definitive answer as we don't know how the ticket buying software in the cinema you're going to works.

At the one I usually visit you specify the tickets then put the code in and the cheapest one becomes free.

The CompareTheMarket T&C say that it's the cheapest ticket free so the cinema should be charging you for the most expensive ticket regardless of what the second ticket is:
https://www.comparethemarket.com/information/rewards-terms/

Whether they will or not, we can't say.
