Memory Foam Mattress Needed Please

Does anyone know where i would find the cheapest ?? I have a bad back done while nursing and i find it hard to get up first thing. I think a nwe mattress would do the trick.

Do i buy a mattress ? Or a memory foam mattress topper ? Have anyone used one for the same reason, and would advise me to get one? And last question i promise. Where would be the cheapest place to buy one at the moment ?

Hopefully someone can help, my 1 yr old screams for his weetabix as soon as he wakes and it takes me at least 10 minutes to get up!!

I was looking for one of these for a couple of years and bought one about 3 weeks ago - absolutely love it and would recommend one to anyone. things to bear in mind according to my research is the "weight" of the foam - not all is the same - basically the heavier density the better.
I bought mine from ebay from a seller called "Viceroybedding" and paid £164 (£200 inc delivery) for a super king size - absolute bargain. I can wholeheartedly recommend the seller. The quality is fantastic and the product is just perfect - that was for a full mattress rather than a topper.
my experience showed that you do not need a bottom sheet with one of these matresses - they come with a kind of felt one that is unzippable and removeable...without a sheet they are perfect, you sink into it lovely and the matress "hugs" you so you turn over less... with a flatsheet on top, it kind of spreads the load more as it were and you dont sink in as much ... I guess it depends on what you prefer.
Personally I love my new mattress and would say go for it.
very kind to the knees as well if you tend to kneel on it occasionally...

Thanks i looked on ebay and surprised to find that the mattress toppers are nearly asmuch as the mattress:thinking: So may aswell go for the mattress as they 12inch some of them! ild bounce on and off again, so think a 8 inch would do me nicely :-D

oh thanks Jenny i just looked. Does bidtv when you pay have to deliver to the billing address ? as itried to sign up to there website and kept crashing after i put in payment, ive moved so need it sent to my new address. Dont want to ring up and they say they cant deliver to me :(

the one on bid tv is a very thin (3.5cm) topper - cant see it being much good myself?.....

yes i did look at it, the ones on ebay are quite cheap for mattresses, but... it says the mattress is 10 inches but the top of mattress is only 4inch then a different foam underneath for the last 6 inches. Im thinking about keeping my mattress and getting a 4inch topper for £90 delivered rather than a mattress for £160 delivered. what you think sound good anyone ? or jsut go for the mattress ??

I had the same dilemma - I went for the mattress and glad I did - what tipped it for me was that my parents have toppers and my dad complains that his moves about a bit
seriously, the ones from viceroybedding on ebay are brilliant. I dont have anything to do with them, I only bought one

I cant afford £2000 porter, thats why im just considering the mattress topper 4inch to go on my current mattress. Cant see the sense in chucking my mattress to go and buy a new one that only have 4 inch of memory foam anyway ?? if that makes sense ?? Im just looking at the cheapest way of getting some memory foam.

Can anyone beat the 4inch memory topper from ebay at £90 delivered ?? I dont think anyone (as brilliant as hotdeals are) could beat the mattress from ebay.
