In all honesty though. I remember a little while ago after the change in currency any old cards that were points just converted to their value in £s when redeemed. So you might as well try it and see what happens

My cousin said he found a 4200 points card a few weeks ago, said he redeemed it for just under £35 (He does talk loads of **** though) worth a try OP.

It should work

There are still some sites selling points cards so I would imagine they still work. No harm in trying of course.

It would be good to hear what op does and how much it gives him if he redeems it.

Put the code in as if you were going to redeem it, then just don't confirm it will tell you what's available

Microsoft Points should still be valid. Points amount will be converted to local currency based on the location of your Xbox Live account.
Converted points will expire 1 year after redemption!

The Microsoft Points retire FAQ seems to have been retired after March 6, try Google cache.

What happens to my Microsoft Points cards?

If you still have Microsoft Points cards or codes, you may redeem them on your console or Xbox.com, and we'll add to your Microsoft account an amount of currency equal to or greater than the Xbox stores' value of your Microsoft Points card or code (Xbox stores include the Xbox Games Store, Movies & TV Store, and Xbox Music Store). Microsoft has no plans to discontinue acceptance of previously purchased Microsoft Points cards and codes, until further notice. The promotional value we put in your Microsoft account will expire one year from the date the Microsoft Points cards or codes are redeemed.

Yup it is a 4200 point card, tried it on the Microsoft account on my laptop but it just read as invalid card, or did the point cards only ever work on Xbox only? I'll try it on my Xbox when I get home
#11
Does anyone want a picture of it so they can try it themselves???
#12
Lmao
#13
If it was sealed I wouldn't give it to anyone else, try redeeming it on a 360

Firstly are you sure you entered it correctly. Have you succeeded in redeeming it yet, if so what value did you get.
