Hello All,
I was wondering if i could have some advice. I need to get some mobile broadband for the next 6 mths only so dont really want to commit to a long term contract. I currently have an iphone so can tether with orange but that is £15 per month. Has anyone got any cheaper options

Most of them are going to work out at about 10 pounds a month for mobile broadband depending on what kind of usage you are using. Keep an eye out for the occassional deals that come up with the data included. It generally tends to be Vodafone dongles where you pay about 80 quid and get the internet included for a year. They really are only for limited usage so if you are planning on using it for iplayer then you may be struggling. Just search 'mobile broadband' in the search link and a few pop up. Hope that helps.

If you've got an unlimited data allowance on your phone contract then you can jailbreak your iphone and tether it, using your data allowance.

If you "jailbreak" your iphone does that mean that it could potentially stopped working, as worried about messing with it being at the start of 24mth contract!
