Looking for mobile phone insurance, but its complicated. Sons father has given him an iphone, so phone registered to his dad (doesn't live with us). How can i insure this phone as its not mine and not sons? I was going to go for the silver account with Lloyds TSB for £7.95 per month but the phone needs to be the property of the account holder. Any ideas?

Yeah dont go with lloyds i used my mums account to insure my phone when it first came out, and hey presto it went missing so i phoned lloyds and they asked for all sorts of stuff, imei number, proof of purchase i.e original recipt!! and a few other things. and well i didnt have the recipt so they told me i couldnt make a claim, waste of time.
Check if you can just add this to your house contents insurance - watch out for the excess, though.
