Mobile Phone reception booster

Hey,

I've just moved house and have found I dont get a signal at all on my mobile phone.

I have recently taken an 18 month contract out with Vodafone so Im kinda stuck with them now.

O2 and Orange work fine in my new property so it is possible to get good signal, just not with Vodafone.

Now I've looked in to it and see there is a booster you can buy for your home to better your signal.

Has anyone got one that they could recommend or does anyone know of a good one selling any where?

Thanks for any help or advice. :)

If you check Vodaphones website and it says you should get reception in your area and you dont you could cancel the contract if you do it soon

Yeh thats what I thought.

Where did you see that mate? Watchdog are basically saying its your fault you moved so Vodafone will say its not their problem, which is basically what they did say when I rung, so I'd be interested to see if it was some where on the site so i could use that to say to them.

I said Im no longer getting a service I payed for and they said its not our fault and you are still getting a service but not at your home lol Jokers.

What is your postcode? where in the IOW are you? :) See you have jsut gone so found this http://maps.vodafone.co.uk/coverageviewer/web/default.aspx?configuration=vod

If it says you can get full signal in red or blue they are lying, and you can get your contract voided, if its in the middle you can argue with them, if its faint you have no chance of voiding your contract

I have sent you a message.

On the Vodafone site it shows I should have an excellent signal there

Thats a shame the 3G reception is poor, but when you try the GSM signal and if that still does not work at all, i would argue with them that you checked there webiste and it said it would be great and you cant get any signal at all, I would also go outside into your garden and see if you get a signal on GSM as it should work 100% outside, if it does not i would tell them you want to break your contract with them due to there website saying it is great quality outside, so they miss-sold you the contract with the information on the website. My OH got her contract canceled due to this but that was with Three a few years ago, let me know how it went, if you dont mind :)

Look on the bright side you live in a very beutiful part of the country, my nan lives in Rookley lol

All the best mate :)
