Anybody any ideas on good prices/cashback? The Halifax, with the mortgage, charge ridiculous sums!

MSE recommends http://www.bestinsurance.co.uk for mortgage payment protection insurance.
#3
I'll try those guys, thanks :)

Any other ideas?

Not sure whether it will help, but I've got mine through direct line. Been with them for years and they're as good as gold.

Worth a look IMO, as much as any of the others anyway.

Better off with income protection greenfield!!!
Go to an IFA near you, I know cos I am one.

What about life and critical illness cover?
#7
depends what you want to spend.Pru are by far best but expensive.
#8
What does 'best' mean in this field? Direct Line are MILES better than my mortgage provider!
#9
Pru give a far more comprehensive cover when it comes to critical illnesses, i.e a lot of providers would only pay out on blindness if both eyes were affected etc where you would be covered by pru.How much you lookin to spend how old are you and do you smoke?these are all factors!!!

28 and 31, non-smokers, and as little as possible but with good cover!

How do you do a MPPI for 2 people? It seems to work only in one person's name on most quotes!?
