Most profitable phone to get on an upgrade with EE?

Looking for some advice.

My upgrade is due with EE (i have to renew through EE so any deal must come from their website).

What would people suggest the best phone to get for maximum profit would be?

I already bought an iphone 6+ 64gb. I am thinking of getting another then selling it on.

£53.99 a month and £79.99 (I only have to pay the phone cost as line rental is covered by work). The phone is worth £700. So i am guessing i can sell it on for £550? That would leave me with £480 to myself.

Also whoch colour is most sought after? The black version?

Is this the best way to go about it or does anyone else have a suggestion?

I could see they gain for short term cash, however would surely be more costly in the long run?

Would suggest moving to sim only, and buying you own phones (which you have).

I dont pay the line rental. I only have to pay for the phone.

Im just happy to get a few more GB a month and EU add on - that will do me.

Also i know about EE rules about selling the phone - i guess i just wont sell it till that period is up :-)

Going on what you said Chris_clark i guess it may be worth me ringing up and see what i can get.

iPhone then! Highest resale value and easy to sell.

Have you thought about buying the phone from a third party website, or through Carping Warehouse? You can still get it on EE contract, but the phone will be sim free, so no unlocking will be necessary. There may not be an upfront fee either, depending on the phone and contract you go for. This will increase the resale value, as you don't need to sell it to someone on EE. I don't know if your work will allow you to buy this way, but it's worth a look.
